- Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website.
- The device appeared alongside Samsung’s new foldable device.
- Does this indicate that the original plan was to launch S21 FE at Unpacked?
We already know that Samsung is developing the Galaxy S21 FE, which is the sequel to the beloved flagship Galaxy S20 FE. Now, Samsung’s upcoming smartphone has surfaced online through the Bluetooth SIG website.
Galaxy S21 FE appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website twice Separate Record, Both documents specifically mention the S21 FE name and SM-G990 model. The document also mentions Bluetooth 5.0 support. This does not seem to be an error, because Samsung’s latest foldable device does list the correct Bluetooth version.
Otherwise, due to the “SM-G990B_DS” model, one of the documents also seems to confirm the dual SIM variant. Samsung usually uses the “DS” suffix to refer to the dual SIM card variant.
There is nothing to collect from the list, but a particularly interesting tidbit is that the S21 FE file was submitted at the same time as the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Watch 4 series. This may indicate that the original plan may be to launch the Galaxy S21 FE together with the foldable product at the Unpacked event on August 11.
The time of FE submission may have little to do with its publication date, original date, or other dates. However, if devices are released in the same event (such as the S21 series, Poco F3 Pro, and X3 Pro), it is common to see them appear together on the Bluetooth SIG.
Reports from South Korea stated that Samsung actually postponed the upcoming mobile phone due to marketing reasons or production problems. But this phone accidentally appeared on Samsung’s official Instagram account, which may indeed indicate that its release time is not far away.
