Amazon customers will be able to pay with venmo next year

Posted on November 9, 2021November 9, 2021 by William

From next year, Amazon customers will be able to pay on amazon.com and Amazon’s mobile shopping app through PayPal’s mobile payment service venmo.
This is the latest agreement signed by Amazon, which provides customers with another way to buy products in its market. Earlier this year, it partnered with confirm to allow customers to pay monthly for products.
PayPal announced that the deal was part of its third quarter profit. Venmo handled $60 billion in total payments in the quarter, an increase of 36%.
PayPal was recently exploring the purchase of pinterest and acquired venmo in 2013 as part of its $800 million Braintree acquisition.
Amazon does not allow customers to pay using paypal.
Venmo began allowing users to buy and sell using cryptocurrencies earlier this year. The service also offers its own credit card.
