- The American brand Blu launched the G91 Pro smartphone.
- This phone offers faster wired charging and more RAM than its predecessor.
- However, we did see some cuts on the paper.
The American smartphone brand Blu launched the G90 Pro last year as a budget-focused gaming smartphone for marketing. Of course, it does not have a high refresh rate screen or flagship chip, but it still provides considerable power and a huge battery.
Now that Blu has returned to the drawing board of Blu G91 Pro, it looks like we have made some upgrades and some downgrades. First of all, this new phone offers the Helio G90 4G SoC, which is actually slightly downgraded from the Helio G90T processor of the G90 Pro.
Blu’s latest phone also saw a degraded rear camera system on paper, replacing the G90 Pro’s 48MP Sony IMX582 main camera with a more budget-conscious Samsung Isocell GM1 48MP sensor. G91 Pro also replaced the 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera of the previous mobile phone, and switched to a 5MP wide-angle camera. Otherwise, you still have a pair of 2MP sensors for depth effects and macro shooting. Of course, the camera hardware is not the whole picture quality, so we need to wait for the judgment in this regard.
However, we do see some major upgrades, the first is charging speed. The phone now has a 30W wired charging function, compared to 18W in earlier devices. This should speed up the charging time significantly, as we have a fairly large 5,000mAh battery. Otherwise, if you prefer to use the charging pad, 10W wireless charging is still available.
Another notable upgrade is that the new phone now has 6GB more memory than the 4GB of the old phone. This should make multitasking more enjoyable.
Blu G91 Pro is also equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+ LCD panel (still 60Hz), 128GB of expandable storage space, a 16MP camera in the center cutout, a rear fingerprint scanner, and Android 11.
Blu said that the recommended price of G91 Pro is $249.99, Amazon, etc. 100 dollars off this price As part of the release promotion. The company also gave away real wireless earplugs to the “first few hundred people” who bought mobile phones. The device will go on sale on August 25 and will be available in moonstone and graphite colors.
