These reports are from the most recent one-star reviews Google Clock app in the Play Store, Together with a Message thread on RedditThey claimed that the scheduled alarm did not sound, nor did they display any notifications or sounds. These reports come from many users of Pixel smartphones, as well as phones made by OnePlus, Oppo, and other companies.
A review on the Play Store stated that the app only vibrated once, and as a result, the user “lost his teaching job because he missed two morning classes”. One-star reviews and Reddit posts claim that normal application troubleshooting methods, such as uninstalling and reinstalling the application, clearing its cache, and changing settings, do not seem to work.
In our case, we tested our Google Clock application, but could not replicate the error. However, a large number of complaints about the same problem must not be ignored. Hopefully, Google will send an update to the clock application to solve this rather annoying but serious problem. At the same time, if you use this application to remind you of some important tasks, you may need to download another clock or alarm application as a backup.
