Do you use automatic or manual screen brightness?

Dhruv Bhutani / Android Authority

Almost from the beginning, automatic screen brightness has been a fixed device for smartphones, which can dynamically adjust brightness according to ambient lighting. We have seen that Google also offers adaptive brightness, learning from your preferred settings over time.

But are you going all out to use auto/adaptive brightness? Or do you prefer manual screen brightness? This is what we want to learn from you in our featured poll today, so please make your selection below.

In theory, auto/adaptive brightness is more seamless, because the phone dynamically adjusts to your environment, requiring almost no user intervention. On the other hand, manual adjustment is more work for the user, but you can rest assured that the screen brightness is exactly the way you like it.

Again, auto/adaptive brightness still allows you to make manual adjustments, giving you the best of both worlds. Either way, you can tell us the options you use by voting above, or if you have more ideas, please leave a comment below.
