- The official page of the Pixel 6 series has been launched in eight countries/regions.
- This confirms that these phones can be used in at least all eight regions when they are launched.
- One of the world’s largest smartphone markets is currently not on the list.
Yesterday, Google announced a series of official details about Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, which is really a blockbuster. We not only saw the appearance of the phone, but Google also announced the name of its first custom SoC-Google Tensor-and showed off some of its exciting features. Now, before the fall of the Pixel 6 series, we have some understanding of its global availability, thanks to people’s XDA developers.
The official landing page of the new Pixel phone has been launched in eight countries. This shows that Pixel 6 and 6 Pro can be used at least when they are launched in these eight regions.
This list is not big, it is worth noting that India does not appear in it. Seeing that Pixel 4 and Pixel 5 have not entered the country, it is not surprising that Google may again skip the new flagship store in India. The company may insist on using more affordable Pixel a series phones in India.
Of course, nothing is set in stone at the moment. Google can plan wider availability for Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. It can also consider different release stages for different countries. We won’t know exactly Google’s plan until Google officially announces it. Currently, people in at least the above eight countries/regions will be excited when they know that Google’s first mobile phones equipped with their own chipsets are about to land in their territories.
