Hackaday Podcast 130: Inverted 3D printer, biplane quadcopter, calculator watch and GitHub CoPilot

Posted on August 7, 2021 by William

Hackaday editors Elliot Williams and Mike Szczys charge up the best hackers that must be offered this week. The god of 3D printer design is very good to us, providing an inverted FDM printer and a hacker that can automatically replace the heating bed for continuous printing. Let’s take a look at a drone design that has a vertical wing built into the frame of a quadcopter-now when it rolls, it is a fixed-wing aircraft! We chew about the artificial intelligence fats that GitHub CoPilot can (or can’t?) generate working code, and talk about waiting for the firm future of solid-state batteries.
