Hackaday Podcast 133: Caustics, not ice cream automation, archery mecha, and the cheapest robotic arm

Hackaday’s editors Mike Szczys and Elliot Williams participated in a wonderful week of hacking activities. An acrylic lens hides the image in a caustic network: the light passing through it. Boston Dynamics finally showed good things; people are troubled by robots, various high-end equipment failures, and some epic successes. Can you infer what plants need to grow better plants by accurately weighing them? In the more turbulent news, a police drone crashed into a Cessna during the flight, the International Space Station spun unexpectedly, and McDonald’s non-ice cream machines appeared around them with a whole new layer of drama.
