- Realme has officially launched its first laptop.
- Realme Book uses a thin and light aluminum body, Intel’s 11th generation CPU and 14-inch display.
- Pricing starts at US$749.
The news that Realme is preparing BBK Electronics’ first laptop computer was first exposed in June. Now, more than two months later, the brand officially launched the Realme Book.
Realme’s first effort included a conservative styling feature titled 3:2 display mounted on an aluminum body. A backlit keyboard with three brightness modes can also improve work efficiency in low-light environments, as does the Microsoft Precision touchpad.
This machine is also called Realme Book Slim, and the thickest part of the notebook is 15.5 mm. It didn’t win any awards in this regard, but it was thin enough to insert effortlessly into the document sleeve of an aircraft seat. We are also considering the relatively low weight of 1.38 kg.
Realme book specifications
Let’s get into some specifications. The front of the Realme Book is a 14-inch IPS 2,160 x 1,440 display, covered with Gorilla Glass. The screen covers 100% of the sRGB color space, and the brightness reaches its peak when it reaches 400 nits.
Inside, there are selected 11th generation Intel CPUs. Buyers can choose between dual-core i3-1115G4 or quad-core i5-1135G7-both have a turbo clock speed of over 4.0GHz, which is enough to meet the needs of general web surfing and light gaming. Speaking of games, Realme Book is equipped with Intel’s Iris XE GPU.

For the power source, Realme Book uses a 54Wh battery and is equipped with a 65W USB-C charger. Realme claims that the latter can fully charge the battery by 50% in half an hour. The smart thing is that owners of Realme phones can also use chargers that support 30W dark charging on Realme Book.
As for I/O, the i3 model has a USB-C port, while the i5 includes another port that supports Thunderbolt 4. There is a USB-A port and a combo headphone jack. The standard configuration of both models is stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon, two microphones, a power/fingerprint combo button and Windows 10 Home. The latter will be upgraded to Windows 11 for free when the operating system arrives.
Finally, Realme also introduced its PC Connect function to notebook computers. This allows certain Realme devices to mirror their display on the computer.
