Huawei launches Hongmeng OS 2 stable update for 65 devices

  • Huawei has released a list of 65 devices, which are now receiving stable Hongmeng OS 2 updates.

More than two years after the United States imposed the ban, Huawei is expanding the coverage of its Hongmeng operating system software. The company’s goal is to install the Hongmeng operating system on 100 million devices by the end of the year.To achieve this goal, Huawei has Announce The stable version of Harmony OS 2 has now been rolled out to 65 devices.

The list of Huawei and Honor devices now receiving the stable version of Hongmeng OS 2 includes older flagship products such as Huawei P40, P30, Mate 40 and Mate 30 series. Huawei Nova devices from Nova 6 to Nova 8 are also lining up to get Hongmeng OS 2. Honor phones in the updated list include V30, V30 Pro, V20, Magic 2 and so on.

When will your mobile phone get Hongmeng OS 2?

Since the above list comes from the company’s Chinese branch, if you are located in the United States, Europe, or other regions, you may have to wait longer to get the new software. If your Huawei or Honor phone is not in the list, please don’t worry. The company has promised to update more than 80 models with new software.

Hongmeng OS 2 was released in September last year. The company’s latest P50 series of flagship phones are already equipped with out-of-the-box software. It brings a variety of new features to Huawei and Honor phones, including device-based adaptive user interfaces, improved security, and “AI audio-visual” for smarter voice recognition. It also promises enhanced cross-device functionality, faster remote read/write performance, and faster search performance than Samba and iOS Spotlight.
