- Including two new laptops, IdeaPad Slim 7 Carbon and IdeaPad Slim 7 Pro, and IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook.
- Two Android tablets, Tab P11 5G and Tab P12 Pro have also been exposed.
Due to the continuing outbreak of Covid-19, Lenovo will host its 2021 annual Tech World virtual event today. It used this event to announce many upcoming new products, including two new sliding laptops based on Windows 11, a new Chromebook with a detachable display, and two new Android tablets.
The new laptops include IdeaPad Slim 7 Pro. You can order this 16-inch 4.6-pound laptop with a 120Hz refresh rate touchscreen display. Internally, you can use the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H mobile processor, or you can use an independent graphics chip, up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 processor. It supports up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage. After a single charge, the battery should last up to 12.5 hours. Other features include speakers that support Dolby Atmos, two USB ports, a USB-C port, an HDMI port, and an SD card slot for additional storage space.

IdeaPad Slim 7 Carbon, as the name suggests, the body is made of carbon fiber material. This makes it weigh only 2.37 pounds. The 14-inch display has a resolution of 2,880 x 1,880 and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Internally, its battery can last up to 14.5 hours, and you can install up to AMD Ryzen 7 5800U mobile processor and NVIDIA GeForce MX450 graphics chip. It supports up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage. You can also get it through two USB ports and one USB-C port, but this notebook does not have an SD card slot or HDMI port.

In addition to the new laptop, Lenovo also released the IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook. The 13.3-inch screen uses The OLED display can be separated from the keyboard so that the display can be used as a Chrome-based tablet. Internally, it uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 chipset, as well as up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. It weighs only 1.5 pounds and can be used for up to 15 hours on a single charge. It also includes a 5MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera, as well as two USB ports.

Two new Android 11 tablets include Label P11 5G. It has an 11-inch 2,000 x 1,200 display, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor, and 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space, or 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. It also has a microSD card to add more storage space. You can expect to see a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera with ToF sensor, a battery that can last up to 14 hours and four JBL speakers. It supports WiFi-6 and 5G networks.

Finally, the Lenovo P12 Pro Android 11 tablet includes only WiFi and 5G models. This 12.6-inch tablet is equipped with a 2,560 x 1,600 display and built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor.It also supports 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space or 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space, with microSD expansion slot. After a single charge, the battery can last for up to 17 hours. This tablet is equipped with 5MP and 13MP rear cameras, as well as an 8MP front camera with ToF sensor. It comes with a detachable keyboard and supports a stylus, and the tablet can be powered wirelessly when connected.
Lenovo has not disclosed the price point or release date of any of these products. However, since these notebooks use Windows 11, we suspect that they will not go on sale until October at the earliest, because Microsoft’s next Windows operating system update will not be released until October 5.
