Movie plot: What is this movie about?
This Korean masterpiece tells the story of a poor family struggling to survive in low-income jobs. The family members include the father named Ji Ze, the mother named Zheng Shu, the son named Ji Woo, and the daughter named Ji Zhen. Ki-woo’s friend Min-hyuk gave the Jin family a scholar’s stone when studying abroad, aiming to bring wealth. He also asked Ji Woo to act like a college student and find a job in a mansion. Ki-woo did the same thing and found a job as an English teacher for Da-hye, the daughter of the Park family.
Then, he asked the whole family to work in different positions at home. The Jin family even got their own house when the Pu family was on a business trip. However, when Wen Guang arrived, their happy hour at home was interrupted. Before the Jin family fired her, she had been a long-term housekeeper. Moon-gwang came to see her husband Geun-sae, who had been hiding in a secret basement for many years.
She begged Zheng Shu to keep him there, but she refused. However, Moon learned the truth about his family and recorded their video, threatening to expose them. When the park arrived early due to the storm, things got out of control. The Jin family hurriedly trapped Wen Guang and Gen Shi in the basement. When the family secretly moved out of the house, they heard Mr. Park talking about the smell of Keeze. With the help of the Jin family, Mrs. Park organized a birthday party for her son Dasong. Although, no one knew that this party would soon become a nightmare.

Parasite movie ending explanation: What happened in the end?
This movie has a rather emotional ending. However, to understand this, we need to know what happened at the family gathering. This all changed when Ki-woo entered the bunker and found that Moon-gwang was dead. At the same time, Guan Shi attacked him, severely injured his head, and ran away. Then he ran into the party and stabbed Jizhen in revenge for Moon Kwang’s death. On the other hand, when Da Song saw Guan Shi as before, he fell into a traumatic epileptic seizure.
Things became more violent when Ki-taek killed Mr. Park and ran away after seeing his reaction to the smell of Guen-sae. Choong-sook and Ki-woo were suspended for fraud, while Ki-jung died after being stabbed at the party. Ki-taek hid in the same bunker because he was wanted for the murder of Mr. Park. While recovering from a head injury, Ji Woo monitors the park house which now belongs to a German family.
One day, he found a flashing light in the house with Morse code written on it. His father Ki-taek would come to the kitchen every night, hoping that his son would recognize his message. Ki-woo then wrote a letter to his father, saying that he would make enough money to buy that house one day. He also promised that after he became rich, he would buy the same house from the family who lived there to reunite his family. The film was so successful that there are two sequels in development. In addition, a TV series is also in preparation.
