- Basilisk V3 is Razer’s latest wired gaming mouse.
- Its HyperScroll Tilt Wheel allows you to pan in four directions.
- The mouse has 11 buttons, customizable lighting and an ultra-fast optical sensor.
Razer launched its latest gaming mouse Basilisk V3 on Wednesday, featuring a four-way scroll wheel and extremely precise optical sensor.
The former is called HyperScroll Tilt Wheel, which allows users to scroll left or right by tilting instead of scrolling. Note SuntecIn normal vertical movement, the scroll wheel provides tactile, smooth or automatic modes. Smoothing is self-explanatory; the haptics are one step at a time, and automatically switch between the first two settings based on how fast you spin. Razer’s Synapse software allows users to switch additional acceleration to quickly slide the steering wheel.
V3 is equipped with Razer’s Focus+ optical sensor, which has a peak sensitivity of 26,000dpi. Thankfully, this can be zoomed out to avoid the cursor flying around on your desktop. Further along these routes, you can adjust the lifting range of the mouse to avoid accidental input.
Some other benefits include 11 customizable buttons, 11 lighting zones, and a 6-foot cable to prevent tangles.
