Backgammon Electronics, the parent company of smartphone brands such as OnePlus, Oppo and Realme, finally launched a tablet on the market.
This 10.4-inch aluminum alloy plate is called Realme Pad and is equipped with a WUXGA+ (2,000 × 1,200) display. It is equipped with a large 7,100mAh battery, and Realme claims to provide 12 hours of video playback and 65 days of standby time. It also supports 18W charging and reverse charging to power other devices.
Although the battery capacity of the Realme Pad is impressive and its design is similar to the iPad Air, don’t expect it to compete with Apple’s tablets. Realme Pad is more like an affordable Android tablet, equipped with MediaTek Helio G80 chip. The eight-core CPU also powers some cheap smartphones from companies such as Vivo and Samsung.
