Many live-action films have fallen on a catastrophic road. As we all know, I am absolutely disappointed in a live-action movie that is badly made and feels like a waste of time. However, even in these disasters, there were some adaptations of real people that were completely consistent with the source materials and restored people’s confidence in them. A popular example of this situation is the Rurouni Kenshin series of movies. These movies shocked the hearts of the audience and became part of my list of favorite Japanese movies. The Rurouni Kenshin series has five parts, and each part is better. The first film in the series came out in 2012 and finally ended earlier this year. There are five parts, Rurouni Kenshin’s watch sequence can be confusing.
Rurouni Kenshin live-action movie series is adapted from the popular manga “Rurouni Kenshin” written by Nobuhiro Waki. Its story revolves around Kenshin Himura, who gave up killing and determined to protect others. The manga was launched in 1994 and published by Shueisha. It was serialized in Japan’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine, and was later authorized by Viz Media to publish it in English. The comics from January 1996 were adapted into animation, which lasted until 1998. Although there was no animation series afterwards, three OVAs were released in 1999, 2001 and 2011.
In 2012, the first Rurouni Kenshin movie came out. If you are new to the franchise and are very interested in it, we encourage you to make a decision, especially since this is one of the greatest movies that people may encounter. To better understand the sequel, here is a complete Rurouni Kenshin watch guide.
