Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3: Is it hot? (polling)

After months of leaks and teasing, Samsung’s third-generation foldable phone finally came out. But now the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is official, what is your judgment? Is the foldable hot?

Well, there are many reasons to argue about “hot”. First of all, Samsung has improved the durability of the phone by applying Gorilla Glass Victus on the display of its shell, while adding a more durable protective film on the fragile inner screen. The IPX8 waterproof rating is also the first to appear. Samsung’s first under-screen camera is now installed on the phone, providing users with an uninterrupted 7.6-inch foldable screen. Multitaskers can also grab the Galaxy Z Fold 3 with one of the two S Pens.

However, from a distance, Galaxy Z Fold 3 is an iterative and conservative upgrade of Galaxy Z Fold 2. The usual flagship specifications apply, including the Snapdragon 888 for US buyers, with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage space. Its battery is also slightly smaller than its predecessor. At the same time, shutter enthusiasts will have to install three 12MP cameras on the rear again. Some people might say that the new foldable products are lukewarm at best.

Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 still seems to be the most mature and exquisite foldable phone, but starting at $1,799, it is still a huge investment.

But what do you think? Is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 hot? Are you planning to buy one? Please be sure to vote in our poll above and comment below.
