Seattle agritech startup iUNU acquires pest management company CropWalk

United Nations University, A Seattle agritech startup that helps growers remotely monitor greenhouse plants, acquired Pest Management Crop walk. CropWalk was established in 2019 to develop pest and pathogen control programs.The company also passed CropTalk mediaiUNU will add 6 employees from the transaction and incorporate CropWalk into its LUNA system, which uses automatic track-mounted cameras and canopy level sensors to evaluate plants, measure growth speed, detect small changes, flag potential problems, and recommend specific actions. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Founded in 2013, iUNU has more than 40 employees and raised 7 million US dollars in December.
