- The Telegram team has announced the addition of several video-focused content to the app.
- This includes 1,000 people making video calls, upgraded video messages, and the ability to adjust the speed of video playback.
Telegram is one of the best alternatives to WhatsApp because it has a large user base and many features that are missing from the IM application owned by Facebook. Now, the Telegram team has announced the latest stable update, which brings several noteworthy features.
The headline news this time is that Telegram has increased the group video call limit from 30 to 1,000. There is an important caveat, though, because the ability to display your video source is still limited to 30 people, which means that another 970 people cannot actually display their videos. Nevertheless, Telegram positions this option as an ideal choice for lectures, event streams, and other similar formats.
We have also upgraded the video message function, allowing you to record short video clips that will not be saved to the phone gallery. These videos now have a higher resolution, can be expanded and have playback controls (such as rewind, pause, fast forward).
These are not the only video-related adjustments, because the Telegram update also brings screen sharing with device sound during one-to-one video calls and the ability to adjust the video playback speed.
Other notable new features in this update include the ability to automatically delete messages sent in chat after one month (adding one day and one week as options), when you zoom in the picture, the width of the brush will automatically decrease, new messages- Send animations and new animated emojis.
