  • The unreleased Google Pixel 6 cradle has wireless charging speeds of up to 23W.
  • This is faster than the wireless charging speeds Samsung and Apple provide for any of their devices.
  • Nevertheless, its speed is only half the speed we have seen from OnePlus and other companies.

It’s been a while since Google launched its first wireless charging stand, the Google Pixel Stand. The maximum output speed of the device when it was launched with the Google Pixel 3 series was 10W.

Now, Google seems to be ready to update the device.according to Android police, Google Pixel 6 bracket may be under development. The charging speed of this stand (if present) appears to be 23W. This is a speed increase of more than 100%, which of course is great to see.

It is worth noting that this means that the Google Pixel 6 bracket can charge Pixel 6 phones faster than any product from Samsung or Apple. These major brands only offer wireless charging speeds of 15W, even on their most expensive flagship products.

However, Google is far from the fastest. For example, OnePlus 9 Pro can use its proprietary charging dock for wireless charging at a speed of 50W.

Nevertheless, it is good to see that Google has surpassed Samsung and Apple in at least one area of regulation. We need to wait for more detailed information about the so-called Google Pixel 6 bracket, but this will only increase the excitement of these upcoming phones.

If the rumors are true, the Pixel 6 series may be launched in just a few weeks.
