BlueStacks is the main Android game emulator for Windows and Mac. Thanks to the “premium beta” of BlueStacks 5 that supports Android 8 Oreo and Android 9 Pie, it is now compatible with a wider range of games.
The current stable version of BlueStacks is limited to Android 7 Nougat, which may be problematic given that some game developers take advantage of newer Android features. The latest beta version supports games such as Genshin Impact, Alchemy Stars and NFS Heat Studio.
These two Stable and beta versions of BlueStacks 5 It is free to download. In fact, both can be used at the same time in multi-instance mode, providing a fallback in cases where some older applications cannot run normally.
The emulator is also free to use, but developers and publishers do pay for more prominent locations.
By the end of 2021, Windows 11 may threaten the life of BlueStacks and other emulators. The operating system will provide native support for Android applications, although the options available through the Amazon Appstore are not as good as the Google Play store. If Amazon means reaching out to a large Windows user base, then developers may be more inclined to support Amazon.
