Best Paramount Plus Movie
Editor’s note: This list will be updated as more Paramount Plus movies are added to the service.
Quiet place/Quiet place part 2
One of Paramount Pictures’ recent hits is “A Quiet Place” in 2018. The film, co-written, directed and starring by John Krasinski, depicts a family at some point after an unknown species suddenly appeared on Earth and almost completely wiped out humans. These creatures aim at their prey by sound, they are very fast and deadly. The film uses its audio design and performances by Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe to show a family that must remain silent in order to survive.
Three years later (because the Covid-19 outbreak was delayed by a year), we finally got the second part of a place of silence. This sequel, which debuted on Paramount Plus 45 days after its release in theaters, takes time back to the origin of the event and then advances to the end of the first film in time. The sequel focuses on Symonds’ character as she tries to find food and water for other members of her family, which leads to the expansion of this very different planet. Both movies are very suspenseful, but also very emotional.
Mission impossible 3

Tom Cruise pioneered the idea of re-adapting the 1960s “Mission Impossible” spy TV series into a movie franchise. As a result, Paramount now has six very successful films in the series (at least two more planned). One of the best franchises is “Mission Impossible 3” in 2006, which humanized IMP agent Ethan Hunt. He wants to marry a nurse Julia Mead (Michelle Monaghan), but she happily doesn’t know her true past and current career. However, when Hunter and his IMP team tried to prevent an evil arms dealer (Philip Seymour Hoffman) from trying to come into contact with a mysterious and dangerous object, things became uncontrollable, which was called “Rabbit’s feet”.
JJ Abrams helped create successful TV shows such as Felicity, Alias and Lost, and his feature film directorial debut was this movie. However, the appearance and action of this movie are like those made by a director with decades of experience. There are some incredible action movies and some nice twists along the way. This is certainly one of the best Paramount Plus movies.
You can also watch all other Mission Impossible movies on Paramount Plus.
Star Trek Beyond
This is easily the best in the “Kelvin Timeline” Star Trek feature film. The 2016 version features the crew of USS Enterprise, and the storybook can be easily produced as a standard Trek TV series. The ship was sent to rescue a crashed ship on an unknown planet. However, Kirk, Spock and other crew members soon discovered that they were fighting for their lives, and ultimately for the lives of the nearby Federal Space Station Yorktown. Thanks to a large budget, some wonderful space wars, and the humor between the actors, it enhanced the material and made this movie stand out from the typical Trek TV show.

Galaxy Exploration

The best Star Trek movie of all time may not actually be a Star Trek movie. On the contrary, it may be a sleeper hit in 1999. It is both a satire of “Star Trek” and an examination of how fans in “Star Trek” and other similar franchises actually affect people. Tim Allen is an actor in the cancelled sci-fi series, which still has a small but highly motivated fan following. He and other actors on the show go to meetings and open shops every day. However, when Allen’s character is connected by an alien race who believes that the Galactic Exploration episode is real, he and his other “crew” have to save the race from being extinct by another hostile alien force.
Yes, when it comes to exploring certain aspects of science fiction fans, this movie is very interesting and just right. However, this also illustrates the fact that shows like Star Trek can indeed make some people’s lives better.
Second World War
Brad Pitt starred in this movie, providing a new perspective on the zombie genre. Pete has worked as a troubleshooter at the United Nations. When he and his family were at the beginning of the zombie apocalypse, he was recruited back to work to find the source of the outbreak. The visual effects of the army of zombies are still spectacular, but the movie is very interested in the last third, because Pete tries to figure out a way to prevent humans from being attacked by undead creatures.
Roman holiday

There are also some classic Paramount movies in the Paramount Plus library. The best one is this 1953 romantic comedy. Audrey Hepburn won the Oscar for Best Actress for her role in this movie. She plays a princess from an unnamed European country who is visiting Rome. She decided to abandon her caregiver and went to the city alone, where she met an American journalist played by Gregory Pike and they spent an unforgettable day in Rome together.
This is an old-fashioned romance, in any sense. This movie has been quoted many times by other romantic comedies, and
The Wolf of Wall Street
This 2013 film once again collaborated with director Martin Scorsese and actor Leonardo DiCaprio. DiCaprio plays the role of Jordan Belfort, a true stockbroker who gets rich by selling overvalued, low-priced stocks to unsuspecting clients. However, the amount of fraud and other crimes caused by Belfort and his teammates quickly attracted the attention of US federal agents. This is a story about how corruption ends up getting you into trouble, no matter how rich you are. The movie also features a star performance by Margot Robbie as Belfort’s wife.
SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run
You have to provide something for the kids in this list of the best Paramount Plus movies, which is why this movie (American Paramount Plus original) is here. SpongeBob continues to be popular with children (and many adults). His third feature film, full 3D CGI animation, saw SpongeBob go to the ocean version of Las Vegas, and some flashbacks of his childhood in Kamp Koral. You can also get some unique cameos from other actors in this movie, including Keanu Reeves, who has always been great.
Sunset Boulevard

This is indeed one of the best movies ever. This 1950 classic has won 11 Oscar nominations and won the best screenplay, best soundtrack and best black and white art direction. It begins to be unforgettable with the death of the main actor played by William Holden. However, he managed to narrate the rest of the film in flashbacks. Holden’s role is a screenwriter who is looking for a job. He found himself driving to a large mansion where Norma Desmond (Gloria Swanson) lived. She used to be a silent film actor, and she recruited Holden to write the script for her comeback. After that, things became dark and complicated.
Host war
Another Paramount Plus original work, this excellent 2020 documentary looks back at the video game industry in the early 1990s. Prior to this, Nintendo dominated the game console game world with its SNES, but Sega decided to launch a rival game console Genesis, which took the world by storm and introduced a great new game mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog. The film details the battle between Nintendo and Sega in the early 1990s to dominate the game console industry.
Paramount Plus Movie-Honorable Mention
Here are a few Paramount Plus movies that did not make it to the top of our list
- Adams family ——This feature film adapted from the “Crazy and Weird” family is still very funny.
- election – Reese Witherspoon is perfect in this satire of school popularity.
- Rock school -Jack Black went all out as an unemployed rock musician, he stumbled to teach children how to rock by themselves.
- Sin City – This is a stylish adaptation of Frank Miller’s crime comic book with some outstanding performances.
- 28 days later – Yes, this is another zombie movie, but it is not a real zombie movie either. Just watch.
