Are you the kind of person who hoards cardboard one day and then regularly breaks it down and recycles it? OK, put a new blade into the utility knife, and then light the hot glue gun, because “cardboard Ninja” will show you how to make shelves from the largest box in your collection.
[cardboard Ninja] accomplished this action very skillfully and cut off the legs from the four long bends that already existed on the cardboard. This is repeated on the shelf, which is made of the side of the box – [cardboard Ninja] used bending when cutting the shelf, and created another three with the edge of the metal ruler. The rest of the cardboard is used to support the shelves and legs.
Although you can use this unit to hold all the other small boxes, it will be a serious underutilization. You see, if you follow the weight distribution rules and put the heaviest things on the bottom shelf, you can put more than 133 pounds (60 kilograms) together.
It looks really heavy, but considering that it was made by a man who called himself [cardboard Ninja] and he has a multi-functional knife leather case, I think we can trust their stress tests, so let’s do it. In view of this, it is always a good idea to fix the shelves on the wall.
You know, this will be a good starting point for the second challenge of this year’s hackday award. Remember: This is the last weekend to enter. The window is closed at 7 a.m. Pacific time on Sunday, so log in quickly!
