One of the more popular trends in the past year or two is to promote three-year operating system updates, and Samsung is the first major OEM to officially make this commitment. Since then, we have seen Vivo, Oppo, OnePlus and Nokia join this trend to varying degrees.
This got us thinking about whether you will make more updates if the operating system update takes a long time to reach your device. Or, if they arrive on time, will you reduce operating system updates? Give us your choice by voting below.
Both of these options have obvious advantages, but the disadvantages are also obvious. Choose the previous option and you will have to wait several months to get the update. Choose the latter option and you will not get so many operating system updates.
Of course, it’s worth noting that companies like Google are known for providing the best of both worlds (more timely updates). But we want to know what is more important to you. Therefore, please give us your choice through the polls above.
