- A leaker revealed the main specifications and price of the upcoming Fitbit Charge 5.
- It is expected that the fitness tracker will retain some of the winning features of its predecessor.
- It is rumored to cost less than $200.
After a large number of renderings showed the redesigned Fitbit Charge 5 last week, there is now a new bug that lists the main specifications and prices of the upcoming fitness tracker.
According to the Twitter prompter Snoopy Technology, Fitbit will once again locate its new Charge in the market segment below $200. The leaker suggested that Fitbit Charge 5 is priced at $179. This is a bit more expensive than the Fitbit Charge 4, which was priced at $149 when it was launched last year. There is also a special edition Charge 4, priced at $170. It looks like the new model will be more expensive than its first two models.
So what is special about it that can guarantee a higher price? Well, the leak indicates that Charge 5 will retain most of the winning features of Charge 4. These include up to 7 days of battery life, 50-meter water resistance (5ATM rating), 24/7 heart rate monitoring, built-in GPS, 20 exercise modes, and automatic activity tracking.

You should also be able to track stress, view dashboards of health indicators, and get daily readiness scores. However, the last one may be limited to Fitbit Premium customers.
Many features of Charge 5 seem to be borrowed from existing Fitbit trackers. Of course, the leaked list does not include all specifications such as display size, resolution, and controls. So we will have to wait and see what else the company has. The last thing the leaker revealed is that the tracker will support Fitbit Pay, but will not get the built-in Google Assistant.
Given the increasing intensity of the leak, Fitbit Charge 5 may be only a few weeks away from its release. We will notify you when and if we get more detailed information about the tracker.
