Generate a fully parameterized 3D printable speaker housing

Posted on November 29, 2021November 29, 2021 by William

Having the right speaker housing can greatly improve the sound quality, so it’s not surprising that customizing the speaker housing is a common project for those who take sound seriously. In this spirit, [zx82net] universal speaker box aims to provide people with everything they need to make a perfect shell.
Parts can be printed in 3D, but the design ensures that the front and rear panels are flat, so wood or other materials can be used according to preferences and appearance. Six m3 bolts and optional heat fixing inserts are screwed together on each side of the assembly, but the unit can be simply bonded together if desired.
One thing that makes this design more extensive and useful is that [zx82net] not only provides parametric design files for fusion360, but also includes CAD files in step format, as well as a small number of preconfigured components of some common speaker drivers: Dayton Audio dma70-4, nd91-4 and tcp115-4. Not enough for you? View the various designs and configurations of the shell that can be rocked at any time collected by [zx82net]; There must be something that attracts anyone.
