  • OnePlus 9 limited edition uses Lunchables-style packaging.
  • Only 15 units are given away through OnePlus US Instagram account.
  • The phone and its bundled accessories are the same.

In an unusual back-to-school marketing gimmick, OnePlus 9 Pro launched a limited edition with “Snackable” packaging, imitating the Oscar Mayer Lunchables that many students carry with them in their backpacks.

Starting on August 23, OnePlus will give away only 15 limited-edition phones through its US Instagram account. Helical gear report. Although OnePlus does not seem to have reached a deal with Oscar Mayer, the packaging has made a lot of nods to the Lunchables design, such as highlighting 5G support and 120Hz display as a nutrient.

There are no changes to the phone or its accessories. The only other things in the box are OnePlus’ Warp Cable and Warp Charge 65T adapter, which allows 65W charging.

The 9 Pro will ship for the first time in March 2021. OnePlus’ top products use a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and have other “advanced” features, such as a 48-megapixel main camera and camera software developed in cooperation with Hasselblad.

The start of the school season is an important goal for many electronics manufacturers. Many students naturally need new phones, computers, tablets, and other devices, which provides an excellent opportunity to integrate the new generation into the company’s ecosystem.
