However, Google Assistant may be added in the future. Although Bixby is the only pre-installed option, the settings menu of Watch 4 includes an option to switch assistants. You can install Google Assistant through operating system updates or downloads from the Play Store.

Bixby is carried on many Samsung devices, but it has been difficult to popularize. Competitors like Assistant and Amazon Alexa are often the first choice because they have nothing to do with the platform and have undergone additional improvements over the years. Some Samsung mobile phone users deliberately use first-party or third-party tools to remap the Bixby button.
Samsung pointed out that it is working closely with Google to bring the latter’s application to Watch 4. This should include at least Google Pay, which is installed on the watch but hasn’t actually worked yet. Google has confirmed plans to support it with Samsung Pay, but it seems that there is development work to be done before the release date of Watch 4 on August 27.
