The features of the iPhone 13 and Galaxy S21 series remain the same. Galaxy S21 ultra and iPhone 13 Pro Max won the championship and became the phones to beat. However, the other phones in these two series are also impressive.
The surface of the iPhone 13 series remains basically the same, but there is a small gap. All four cameras maintain the same display size and overall floor area, and retain better cameras for pro models. This time, the 120Hz display of iphone13 pro and pro Max provides a smoother experience than the 60Hz display on iphone13 and 13 Mini.
However, in the case of Galaxy S21, this is a very important design innovation. Samsung replaced the ugly camera bulge of the galaxy S20 with a “contour cutting” camera directly integrated into the metal frame. The galaxy S21 series also has a display refresh rate of 120Hz. However, Samsung reduced the resolution of the standard Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 plus to full HD while maintaining the S21 ultra at QHD +.
In terms of specifications, no matter which phone you choose, you will get flagship performance. The latest Apple chip, A15 bionics, is likely to be the world’s fastest smartphone processor, so it is likely to beat the galaxy S21 with
snapdragon 888 on the performance benchmark – although we haven’t tested it yet. However, in actual use, you will not see significant differences. These seven phones can easily handle anything you throw them.
The biggest selling point of apple and Samsung flagship is usually the camera. These phones are part of the overview of the best mobile camera every year, and 2021 is no exception.
Each phone has multiple camera lenses. The iPhone 13 series retains many of the camera features of the previous generation. The dual cameras of the iPhone 13 and the mini version of the iPhone 13 have not changed at all. This time, there is only aesthetic difference. The camera is tilted. The camera did well, so you can expect the same result again.
As before, the professional edition adds a telephoto lens to the mix. Although the specifications of iphone13 pro and pro Max remain unchanged, the ultra wide camera has been upgraded from ƒ / 2.4 aperture to ƒ / 1.8 aperture, which will make it perform better in weak light. Software also has new functions. A new movie mode brings pork to the video. You can now use night mode on all shots, not just the main shot.
Galaxy S21 and S21 plus are also equipped with 12MP wide-angle and ultra wide sensors and a 64mp telephoto shooter. However, if you want more cameras, the galaxy S21 ultra is the phone you want. It is equipped with a 108mp wide-angle lens, two 12MP telephoto lenses and a 12MP ultra wide-angle lens.
We know that the galaxy S21 series cameras are excellent, and we can expect the iPhone 13 series to be the same. I’m glad to see that these two phones, especially S21 ultra and iphone13 Pro max, will compete with each other in our upcoming camera war.

- S21 Plus: $999 / €1,049 / £949
- S21 Ultra: $1,199 / €1,249 / £1,149
- iPhone 13 Mini: $699 / €799 / £679
- iPhone 13: $799 / €899 / £779

- iPhone 13 Pro Max: $1,099 / €1,249 / £1,049
Apple has not changed the starting price of the iPhone 13 series. However, it is worth noting that it abandoned the 64GB option and chose 128GB instead. Therefore, compared with the previous generation, the storage space of each basic iPhone 13 has doubled. With iphone13 pro and pro max, you can also increase your storage capacity to 1TB.
For the galaxy S21, Samsung took a big step back from the overpriced Galaxy S20 series. The starting price of each phone is $200 lower than the previous generation, which is more consistent with competitors such as the iPhone 13.
The galaxy S21 ultra costs $1199, a little more than the iPhone 13 Pro max. You can use different camera settings, higher display resolution and s-pen support to make this difference more satisfactory.
The same price iPhones 13pro and Galaxy S21 plus are similar. The price of ordinary iPhone 13 and Galaxy S21 is the same. However, some people may object to the higher manufacturing quality of the former, giving it an advantage over the “glassic” Samsung mobile phone. On the other hand, the galaxy S21 has a higher screen refresh rate, which can only be achieved by a professional iPhone.
The iPhone 13 Mini does not have Samsung’s similar products. If you want a small phone, mini is the best choice, and it is the cheapest.
