The acquisition will enable Hootsuite users to send messages directly to customers through AI-enabled chat and video capabilities, and enable brands to respond to customers in real time. Heyday integrates with e-commerce platforms and brand websites and applications.
“The new generation of shoppers wants to interact with brands by making purchases on social media and receiving real-time customer service,” Hootsuite CEO Tom Keizer said in a press release. “This relationship starts with social and ends with social, so we are happy to provide brands with a better way to deliver a successful customer experience at scale.”
To date, Hootsuite has raised nearly US$300 million and has more than 18 million customers, 4,000 corporate customers, and 200,000 paying customers.it get Customer participation in the platform Sparkcentral in January.
