  • A new video shows the Mi Mix 4’s screen and Selfie camera with insufficient display.
  • The screen in the clip seems to be very flexible, but we don’t want this to happen in the final product.

Xiaomi will hold an event on August 10th and confirmed that Mi Mix 4 will be released that day. We are eagerly looking forward to what the company can do, because the Mix series often brings radical designs.

Now, the leaker’s digital chat station has Shared a video on Weibo The Mi Mix 4 screen is allegedly displayed. We have two main points here, namely the flexible nature of the screen and the existence of the selfie camera under the display. Check out the video below.

The leaker added in a follow-up comment that this is an “unpackaged screen” that has not been installed on the phone. So we guess that the display in the final product will not be so flexible. After all, issues such as durability and rigid internal components such as batteries can complicate the problem. But we do want to know what Mi Mix 4 will look like.

The original Mi Mix achieved a high screen-to-body ratio a few months before the entire industry adopted this trend. At the same time, Mi MIX 2 further improves the screen-to-body ratio and provides a ceramic body. Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 3 provides a sliding cover design, while the broken Mi Mix Alpha has a display that surrounds the back of the device.

Xiaomi’s latest Mi Mix will be the company’s first device with an under-display selfie camera, but it will not be the first major phone to adopt this technology (this honor goes to ZTE Axon 20). So we hope the company has more skills. The announcement on August 10 is not far away, so it will be announced in a few days.
