Topgolf is preparing to put into use the latest technology golf facility in southern Seattle, which is scheduled to open in Renton, Washington, on Friday.
The 78th venue of the sports and entertainment company is its first venue in Washington state, which will have three floors and 102 open-air billiards. Topgolf also launched toptracker, whose ball tracking technology provides power for the high-tech driving range experience, so that golfers can play games such as “angry birds” and “jewelry jam”
In addition to the mix of food, drink and music, the site will also have an indoor swing suite simulator compartment powered by all-round technology, another way for golf and other sports games.
Genifer gray, chief operating officer of topgolf, said at the press conference: “for many years, we have been looking forward to bringing our technical golf experience to players in greater Seattle, where technology is the center of everything.”
Topgolf is promoting the architectural design of the company’s first atrium of the skyline center in Renton. The atrium is equipped with seats, courtyard games and a huge video wall, creating a leisure place that connects the game experience with the patio, bar and roof terrace.
The Seattle topgolf Renton hotel first announced in 2021 that it will be located next to Logan Avenue, close to Boeing factory and landing, which is a large-scale shopping and catering development project that opened in 2007.
The company first entered the Seattle area in January 2020 and launched the first ever “topgolf lounge” concept car, an indoor facility that combines virtual sports and catering products. The 9200 square foot lounge is located on the second floor of Kirkland urban, a 1.2 million square foot mixed use development east of Seattle, Kirkland, Washington. Google bought the website in September 2019.
Topgolf said it would employ about 500 employees at the Renton plant.
